Supplier of fake certificates arrested in Bettiah

Bettiah, Dec 22 (UNI) Police today busted a gang involved in alluring people for appointments on the basis of forged certificates, by arresting two of its members from Vasant Vihar colony under Mufassil police station area in West Champaran district.

The Deputy police superintendent said here acting on a tip off, a team of local police raided a hide-out and arrested Ramji Tiwari alias Ram Lakhan Tiwari alongwith his son.

''Several fake certificates and incriminating documents were recovered from the father - son due during the search operation,'' he added.

He said Ram Lakhan had succeeded in getting appointments for several persons on the basis of fake certificates provided by him.

''Ram Lakhan was also working as a panchayat teacher on the basis of forged certificate. A case in this connection was registered at concerned police station,'' he added.
