New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI) Police today recovered the bodies of the owner and caretaker of a dog shelter in one of the rooms of the 'ashram' in the Mehrauli area.
Eight stray dogs were also found dead in the room of the shelter known as 'kutta ashram', which houses more than 60 dogs.
Police said it might be a case of food poisoning as some body fluids had been found at the spot.
The deceased were identified as owner Vishwant Kumar, 65 and caretaker Shivrat, 35.
The bodies had been sent to AIIMS for a post-mortem.
