Id-ul-adha celebrated in Nagaland

Kohima, Dec 21: The Muslim community in Nagaland today celebrated Id-ul-adha throughout the state with religious fervour and gaiety.

The main function was held at the Assam Rifles ground here, where the Namaz was administered by Maulana Badrudduja Qasimi, Pesh Imam of the Jami Mosjid of Kohima.

A huge crowd had gathered at the DDSC field in Dimapur to offer special prayers.

Similar celebrations were also witnessed at Mokokchung and Wokha, the district headquarters.
