Governor, CM greet people on Id-ul-Zuha

Shimla, Dec 21 ((UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokjee and Chief Minster Virbhadra Singh today greeted people on the occasion of Id-ul-Zuha.

In his message, Mr Kokjee said, ''Id is a symbol of festivity and love, which spreads the message of brotherhood and peace.'' Chief Minster Virbhadra Singh said such festivals help in fostering unity and amity among different religions which was essential for the prosperity of the country.

Muslims thronged various mosques in the state to celebrate the occasion. A large number of muslims congregated at all the four mosques in the Shimla town and offered prayers.
