BJP to organise special programme on 84th Birthday of Atal

New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI) The BJP will organise a special programme, including a play "Mahabharat Paso Ka Khel" based on former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's poems, on his 84th birthday on December 25, in the capital.

Among the various programmes slated by the party were donation of blood by BJP youth, and painting competition in the capital.

Former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, Leader of the Opposition Lal Krishan Advani and Party President Rajnath Singh would also attend the functions to be organised on Atalji's birthday, BJP Secretary Vijay Goel said.

Special programmes would also be organised in Mr Vajpayee's parliamentary constituency Lucknow on the day, he said.
