Bet Dwarka receives 24 hours power supply

Jamnagar, Gujarat, Dec 21 (UNI) People of Bet-Dwarka have started getting 24 hours power supply with completion of Marine Cable project, initiated by the Paschim Gujarat Vij Company.

Sources said that after independence this is the first time when people of Bet-Dwarka, the famous religious place where hundreds of pilgrims visit the Lord Krishna Temple daily, have received 24 hours power supply since december 19.

Earlier, Bet-Dwarka was provided with power supply for only four to six hours daily by generators as this island is surrounded by sea.
