Flamingos flock to Western Pune

Pune, 20 Dec, 2007 : As winter sets in, India's western Pune springs to life with the arrival of hundreds of Flamingos.

But this year Pune is seeing a decline in the number of Flamingos as their nesting and breeding habits are altered, courtesy global warming and a host of other environmental factors.
