Select cotton price remains steady

Mumbai, Dec 20 (UNI) Key medium stapple cotton prices today remained steady on moderate spinners and exporters demand, traders at the East India Cotton Association said.

Following are the spot new cotton rates per candy (355.62 kg) in Rupees: Bengal Desi: 16,800, V-797: 17,300, Karnataka Jayadhar: 15,300, Y-1: 17,000, Punjab J-34: 18,000, NHH-44: 18,300, LRA: 18,400, H-4: 18,400, S-6-A grade: 18,600, Bunny/Brahma: 19,500, MCU-5: 20,200, DCH-32: 21,000, 35-MM: 28,600, Hedge Contract: 18,500.
