President to stay at Rashtrapati Nilayam

New Delhi, Dec 20 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil will stay at Rashtrapati Nilayam at Secunderabad and attend various official programmes from December 21 to January 6.

The President will visit Puducherry on December 21 where she will attend the inaugural function of the 34th Jawahar Lal Nehru National Science Exhibition for Children-2007.

On December 22, she will visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, the Ashram school and the Painting Exhibition.

Ms Patil will be on an official tour of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from December 26 to 28 where she will be visiting the rehabilitation work sites in the tsunami affected areas and interacting with the islanders.

At Hyderabad, the President will attend various programmes organised by the State Government and the Ministry of Defence. She will visit the Defence Research Establishments and the Air Force Training Institute.
