Licences of 6 manure shops cancelled, 18 others suspended

Siddharthnagar, Dec 20 (UNI) Licences of as many as six shops was cancelled and 18 others suspended in Basti division after alleged anomalies were detected under a programme to check the black marketing of manure.

According to sources today, a raid was conducted at 136 shops and samples were sent for a test under the programme.

Licences of six shops were cancelled in Santkabir Nagar, while licences of 14 and four shops was suspended in Basti and Siddharthnagar districts respectively.
