HP extends RFID solutions to retail market
Bangalore, Dec 20 (UNI) Hewlett Packard has extended its Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) solutions to Indian customers.
The new offerings, designed specifically for supply chain players, would assist retailers in reducing out-of-stock, asset shrinkage positions and provide supply chain visibility, a press release said.
Through RFID, retailers could experience improved supply chain efficiencies leading to a greater accuracy of inventory tracking, reduced stock-outs, faster throughput and reduced demand for labour-intensive stock checks.
HP would offer end-to-end RFID solutions to help Indian customers to simplify change and reduce costs.
