Flood warnings issued in Mysore following heavy rains

Mysore, Dec 20 (UNI) The Chamarajanagara Irrigation authorities have issued a flood warning to the people living in the downstreams of Chikkahole and Survanavathi reservoirs in Chamarajanagar district.

In a press note, Assistant Executive Engineer Chandrashekar in Chamarajanagara said that these twin reservoirs in the taluk were receiving heavy inflows following copious rains in Tamil Nadu.

The authorities expect heavy inflows into the reservoirs and excess water was expected to be discharged any time.
