Woman bank officer commits suicide

Ludhiana, Dec 19 (UNI) A 27-year-old woman bank officer allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Model town.

According to the police, the body of Shashibala, a probationary officer in a nationalised bank, was found hanging from the roof of her house this morning.

As no suicide note was recovered from the spot, the reason behind the extreme step could not be ascertained so far.

A case has been registered by the police.
