ONGC in Fortune list of 'World's Most Admired Cos'

New Delhi, Dec 19th 2007: It is good news indeed for the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd or ONGC, which can now boast of becoming the first ever Indian company to enter Fortune Magazine's annual list of the World's Most Admired Companies.

ONGC has been ranked at the ninth position in the Industry segment of 'Mining, Crude Oil Production'. The survey was conducted by the Fortune magazine, in association with world-renowned Hay Group.
