Smuggler arrested with 410 gm morphine

Barabanki, Dec 19 (UNI) Police today arrested a notorious smuggler here and seized 410 gm morphine estimated at 45 lakh in the international market.

Police superintendent Praveen Kumar said acting on a tip-off, that a person was carrying morphine on Satrikh-Barabanki road, cops laid a trap.

A suspicious looking man was intercepted and frisked, which led to the recovery of 410 gm morphine.

He was identified as Kazzan of Jaidpur area.
