Six juvenile delinquents escape

Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Dec 19 (UNI) Six juvenile delinquents escaped from a juvenile home here last night.

Police said the six made good their escape by bending the iron bars of the window of their room, after the premises was plunged into darkness following a power failure due to heavy rain.

Three of the six boys were facing murder charges.

Following a complaint lodged by the head of the home S P Arivuselvam, Superintendent of Police V Anandasamy ordered investigation into the case.
