Prez to visit on Dec 21 by road

Puducherry, Dec 19 (UNI) President Pratibha Patil will reach Puducherry from Chennai on December 21 by road, instead of using an IAF helicopterm to inaugurate the national science exhibition.

According to official sources, due to incessent rain the helipad at Ouppalam here was water logged. Hence, the programme for her visit has been altered and she would now travel to the Union Territory by road.
