Minister's son demands resignation of his father

Bhilwara, Dec 19 (UNI) Rajasthan Panchayat Raj Minister Kalulal Gujjar's son demanded the resignation of his father for allegedly failing to protect the interest of the community.

At a meeting organised here today by Gujjar Mahasabha in protest against the Chopra Committee report, the Minister's son Devalal Gujjar lambasted his father's ''inability'' to protect the interest of the community.

''My father was present in the Cabinet meeting, which discussed the Chopra Committee report but he failed to protect the interest of the community. It is better he resigns his post,''he said.

The agitated Gujjars also burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje at Bhilwara, Gulabpura and Asind in protest against the government's failure to include Gujjars in the scheduled tribes list.
