Madurai, Dec 19 (UNI) The Madurai Bench of Madras High Court today ordered notice to former Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, while admitting a Criminal Revision Petition taking exception to her comments in a television interview stating that ''no Indian has chastity or virginity any more.'' The petition was filed by Advocate S Girish Kumar, following which Justice A Selvam issued notice to her and a Tamil daily 'Dinathanthi,' that published the transcript of the interview.

The notice is returnable by January 7, 2008.

Earlier, a Judicial Magistrate, who inquired into the complaint lodged by Girish Kumar against the actress and the editor, under IPC Sections 292 (A), 293 and 509 dismissed the same on the ground that there was no prima-facie material or evidence to come to conclusion that Ms Sen would have made these comments.
