L&T bags Rs 287 crore contract from MMRDA

New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) Country's premier engineering firm Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) today said it has bagged a contract worth Rs 287.37 crore from Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

The project, to be completed in 30 months, will provide easy and quick access to and from Chatrapathi Shivaji international airport by constructing elevated access road from Western Express Highway to the airport, the company said in a statement.

The scope of work involves design and construction of 1850 metre long six lane corridor consisting of pedestrian and vehicular subways, resurfacing of roads at Western Express Highway including the construction of a 1150 metre long, six lane elevated access road as well as a 165 metre long tunnel.
