LSD worth Rs 19.65 lakh seized from Danish national in Goa

Panaji, Dec 19 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti-Narcotics Cell today arrested a 55-year-old Danish national from his hotel at Anjuna in North Goa and seized LSD valued at Rs 19.65 lakh in the international market, from his possession.

Police have identified the accused as Hendrick Rudolph Ribbius.

ANC chief Dinraj Govekar told UNI that the consignment was meant for Ribbius' own consumption as well as sale. He was in Goa since October this year on a tourist visa.

Ribbius would be produced before a local court tomorrow for remand and further investigation.
