Inquiry against education director for convassing for Congress

Shimla, Dec 19 (UNI) Following a complaint lodged by the BJP against the Himachal Pradesh Education Department, Director Anita Rao, alleging her of canvassing in favour of Congress candidate Rangila Ram Rao despite her being a public servant, an inquiry has been ordered.

The Mandi district administration has ordered the returning officer to inquire into the complaint registered by the BJP, which accuses Anita Rao of campaigning in favour of a candidate despite being in public service.

Mandi Deputy Commissioner, Subhasish Panda said, 'a complaint regarding Anita Rao having campaigned in favour of a contestant has been received and the concerned returning officer has been directed to look into the matter'.
