Ex-armyman kills 2 children, commits suicide

Jhansi, Dec 19 (UNI) A retired armyman shot dead his son and daughter and later committed suicide in Babina area here late last night, police today said.

Ex-armyman Jamuna Prasad Pathak, said to be deranged, killed his son Pradeep and daughter Priyanka.

Later, he ended his life by shooting himself.

The matter came to light this morning, when Jamuna's brother arrived at their house to deliver milk.

The door of the house was locked from inside and no one answered the calls. Police was informed, who broke open the door and took the three bodies in custody.

Investigation was on.
