BSF foils infiltration bid on IB in J

Jammu, Dec 19 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF) troops foiled an infiltration bid by unidentified persons through the International Border (IB) in R S Pura Sector, official sources said here today.

Sources said that a suspicious movement was spotted by the BSF on the intervening night of December 17 and 18 when a group of three people tried to infiltrate into Indian Territory.

''The infiltration bid was attempted near pillar number 865 in Abdullian post of R S Pura Sector when BSF troops opened fire, the infiltrators fled away, the sources told UNI
