Andrew Yule to spin off electrical and engineering business

Kolkata, Dec 19 (UNI) The state-run Andrew Yule and Co has decided to spin off its electrical and engineering business and expects to earn a profit this fiscal, company Chairman and Managing Director Kallol Dutta today said.

" We are going to spin off the electrical and engineering business into separate companies by the next fiscal, " he told reporters.

To a question, Mr Dutta said the federal government had approved a Rs 490 crore financial package for the company.
