Abu Salem brought to AP capital

Hyderabad, Dec 19 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today brought underworld don Abu Salem to the city in connection with the fake passport case.

An accused in the 1993 Mumbai Serial Blasts Case, Abu Salem was brought here from a Mumbai Jail where he was lodged after extradition from Portugal.

Police sources said he was immediately taken to the Chenchalguda Prison. Salem would appear before the Special Court for CBI Cases, they said while refusing to disclose the exact date of appearance.
