Kerala getting ready to celebrate X-Mas

Kochi/Kerala, Dec 18, 2007 : With Christmas round the corner, India's southern Kerala state is gearing up to welcome the festival with Christmas carols.

Eight churches in Kochi city got together with their choir groups singing hymns and Christmas songs in English and local language Malayalam. The participants belonging to Young Men's Christian Association or YMCA and Young Women's Christian Association or YWCA including children have been rehearsing for over a month for the show.
