Tenchinical snag grounds private airline plane

Gwalior, MP, Dec 18 (UNI) A Delhi-Gwalior-Indore private airlines flight was halted immediately before take-off at Gwalior airport following technical snag in the aircraft.

Airline company sources said smoke was detected coming out from the front portion of aircraft at 1800 hours just before the aircraft was about to take-off for Indore.

The pilot was asked to stop the aircraft and passengers were taken to lounge. It was decided to halt at Gwalior tonight.

However, angry passengers demanded alternative arrangement or refund.

No company official was available for comment. The airplane was carrying 48 passengers.
