Ten antique idols seized; eight people arrested

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 18 (UNI) The district police today recovered ten antique idols, worth Rs 50 lakh, and arrested eight people in this connection near Podili village in Prakasham district.

Police said the eight dacoits were involved in four temple thefts in different police stations in the district in the last six months.

Panchaloha idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati were among those seized.
