Public holiday declared in Punjab on Dec 21

Chandigarh, Dec 18 (UNI) The Punjab Government has declared a public holiday in the state on Friday next on account of Id-ul-Zuha.

All State Government offices and those of corporation and boards and educational institutions will remain closed on December 21 in the state.

However, the session of Punjab Vidhan Sabha will be held in the afternoon that day as scheduled, a state government spokesman here said.
