PM to address GU Convocation on December 28: Kamat

Panaji, Dec 18 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan singh will address the Goa University Convocation here on December 28.

Confirming this, Chief Minister Digambar Kamat told media here today that Dr Singh will reach Goa on December 27 and would return to Delhi on the next day.

The government has plans to organise a function for launching the Goa Broad Band project, besides an interction with the Ministers, who will make a presentation of developmental projects, including tourism, during Mr Singh's stay.

The broadband project is ready at all taluka level and it would be available to households by March next, providing the people with a host of value added services.
