Agartala, Dec 18 (UNI) A Tripura-based NGO has sought the BSNL to provide 100 free SMS service to vote for 'Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' Little Champ contestant Smita Nandi from December 21.

Addressing a letter to the BSNL NE Circle Chief General Manager, the NGO said the mobile density in North East, especially in Tripura, is very low and hence is difficult for a contestant from here to win the stiff competition as compared to other states.

The mobile service providers should come out with a supportive package, the NGO urged.

Smita Nandi, who had already made her way to the top eight, might face a difficulty in the next phase, where the performance would totally depend upon the public votes through SMS.

The voting would start from December 21.

Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, besides, several legendary musicians have also sought public votes for this liitle contestant.
