Kamal Nath discusses rising rupee, increasing interest rate with

New Delhi, Dec 18 (UNI) Expressing concern over the rising rupee and hike in interest rate, Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath today met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the Trade and Economic Relations Council meeting this morning and discussed the matter.

''In a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, both the issues were discussed,'' Mr Nath told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.
