Indian
Navy
will
conduct
the
next
heritage
walk
in
Naval
Dockyard
here
on
December
30.
According to a Defence Ministry spokesman, the highlight of the walk, which will be open for the Indian citizens, includes a model of the oldest ship in the world HMS Trincomale, built in Naval dockyard, which is still afloat. The walk will also showcase the glorious history of 250 years of the dockyard, seven generations of the Wadia ship builders, dry docks for repair of warships, tour of Bombay castle and layout of the mechanism of a 102-year-old clock, along with other attractions.
