HCL Tech signs global multi-services agreement with Merck

New Delhi, Dec 18 (UNI) HCL Technologies Ltd today said it has signed a multi-year, multi service agreement with Merck&Co Inc to provide strategic support to Merck's key IT initiatives.

''As we begin this new strategic initiative, HCL will continue to play a key role in Merck's growth across global markets,'' Merck Global Technology Services Vice President Richard Branton said.

''Merck has moved ahead leaps and bounds on its path of global delivery and we are confident this expanded relationship is a game changing move for both companies, as well as for the industry,'' HCL America President Shami Khorana.

The company is expanding upon the existing relationship that was started in 2004.
