ECoR to run special trains during X mas

Bhubaneswar, Dec 18 (UNI)East Coast Railway( ECoR) has decided to run weekly superfast special train between Puri and Howrah to avoid extra rush during X'Mas, The weekly Superfast X'Mas Special trains will run from December 25 to January 2 next and accordingly the 0807 Howrah-Puri weekly superfast Special train will leave Howrah at 2055 hours on every Tuesdays during the period and arrive Puri at 0600 hours next day.

In the return direction,the 0808 Puri-Howrah weekly superfast special train will leave Puri at2145 hours on every Wednesday during and arrive Howrah at 0645 hours on the next day.

The special train with composition of two AC-2 tier, two AC-3 tiers, 09 Sleeper Classes, 02 General Second Class coaches and two Guard cum Luggage Vans, will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road and Sakhigopal between Howrah and Puri.

In a bid to facilitate current booking of reservation for early morning trains,the ECoR has decided to open current reservation counter at Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam stations from 0500 hours every day.

The facility for current reservation will be available for morning trains from Bhubaneswar like 2074 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jana Shatabdi Express, 2893 Bhubaneswar-Bolangir Inter City Express, 7015 Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Visakha Express, 2845 Bhubaneswar -Yeshvantpur Express, 2443 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express via Tata, 2421 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express via Adra, 2830 Bhubaneswar-Chennai Express, 2898 Bhubaneswar-Pondichery Express and 2822 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Dhauli Express.

Similarly,the current reservation facility for morning trains from Visakhapatnam would be available for 2805 Visakhapatnam- Secunderabad Janmabhoomi Express, 2807 Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin Samata Express, 7240 Visakhapatnam-Guntur Simadri Express, 2803 Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin Swarna Jayanti Express,2717 Visakhapatnam- Vijaywada Ratnachal Express, 7488 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Tirumala Express, 2861 Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin Link Express, 2727 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad Godavari Express, 8518 Visakhapatnam-Korba Express and 8509 Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad Express.
