Cairn India's CEO to retire in April next year

New Delhi, Dec 18 (UNI) The chief operating officer (CEO) of oil exploration firm Cairn India Laurie Smyth will retire in April 2008.

He will step down as a full time director of the company in January 2008, a company statement said.

Phil Tracy the Engineering and Operations Director of Cairn Energy PLC will return to the company to join the Rajasthan Project Management board with immediate effect, the statement added.
