3 suspected drowned in canal

Lucknow, Dec 18 (UNI) Three persons are suspected drowned, as the jeep they were travelling speeded and plunge into Indira canal in Gosainganj area of the Uttar Pradesh capital today.

The accident occurred on Lucknow-Sultanpur highway, where the proceeding towards Lucknow, fell into the canal, police said.

Meanwhile, senior police officials have reached the spot and efforts are on to search the vehicle.
