Seven killed, 15 inured in road accidents

Hyderabad, Dec 17 (UNI) Seven people were killed and 15 others injured in two separate road accidents in Nalgonda and Khammam districts in Andhra Pradesh today.

Police said four people, including two women, were killed when an auto in which they were travelling collided with a bus near Raddipalli village of Sundupalli mandal in Kadapa district.

The bus, proceeding from Pileru to Sundupalli, collided with an auto when the mishap occurred. Three persons were killed on the spot and a seriously injured person succumbed to injuries while shifting to a hospital.

Five injured were admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Kadapa.

In another incident, three people were killed and 10 others injured when a lorry and a bus collided head-on near Kurumeda village in Nalgonda district.

The bus was proceeding from Tenali to Hyderabad. Bus driver and two passengers in the lorry were killed in the accident. The injured were shifted to Hyderabad for treatment.
