Puducherry CM asks students to inculcate reading habit

Puducherry, Dec 17 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today exhorted students to inculcate reading habit which would improve their general knowledge.

Inaugurating the 11th National Book Exhibition here, Mr Rangasamy regretted that the students here were showing interest only in engineering and Medical course and asked them to concentrate on IAS, IPS and other competitive courses to bring laurels to Puducherry.

The Chief Minister asked the students to take part in the All India Science Exhibition which begins here on Dec 21.

Several Publishing houses all over the country were taking part in the week-long exhibition.
