Pravin held guilty for murder and house trespass

Mumbai, Dec 17 (UNI) Pravin Mahajan was held guilty for murder of former BJP leader Pramod Mahajan and trespass into house by a sessions court here today.

Pronouncing the order, Additional Session Court Judge S P Davare said that considering all the evidences brought on record by the prosecution during the trial process, accused Pravin Mahajan was found guilty under section 302 (Murder) and 449 (House trespass) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) for the murder of Pramod Mahajan in the deceased's house on April 22, last year.

The court will pronouce quantum of sentence tomorrow after the submissions of prosecution as well as defence advocates on it, Judge Davare added.
