J&K DGP sanctions rewards for outstanding service
Jammu, Dec 17 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda today sanctioned Rs 4.10 lakhs in favour of police personnel for rendering outstanding and meritorious service in the bordering areas of the state.
Mr Khoda said any exemplary work deserved encouragement and appreciation especially those serving in the districts of Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora.
''Jammu and Kashmir Police had earned a name in the country by its hard work in combating militancy,'' Mr Khoda said, adding that while there would be reward for outstanding performance, erring and non-performing officials would not be tolerated.
