Governor inaugurates Conference on Internet Technology
Bangalore, Dec 17 (UNI) The fourth International Conference on Distributed Computing and Internet Technology with a stress for development of e-Society was inaugurated by Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur here today.
Speaking after inaugurating the four-day Conference he said that it was a significant event because it has been hosted jointly by the Centre for Electronic Governance of United Nations University and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.
"This will go a long way in making the country adopt in the latest advancement of technological knowledge," he added.
A total of 177 research papers on the subject from 20 countries will be presented dealing with issues concerning security and privacy.
