Contractor robbed of Rs 4 lakh near DM's residence

Lucknow, Dec 17 (UNI) A mobile phone company contractor was today robbed of Rs four lakh near the Lucknow District Magistrate's residence.

Police said Nandlal Yadav had withdrawn Rs four lakh from a bank.

Two motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched the bag containing the money near the DM's residence and fled.

A case had been registered in this regard and a manhunt launched to nab the culprits.
