Vaiko to stage agitation on Dec 17

Chennai, Dec 16: MDMK General Secretary Vaiko will lead an agitation to protest the Union and State Government policies here tomorrow.

An MDMK release here said the demonstration would be staged in front of the Chennai Collectorate.

The agitiation will be launched to demand Rs 1,000 per quintal as procurement price for paddy, condemn the unannounced power cuts and fertiliser shortage in the State, which had affected the farmers badly, the release said.
