Murder accused parnets, 3 siblings awarded life term

Gorakhpur, Dec 16 (UNI) A local court sentenced parents and three brothers of a youth who killed him over a property dispute to life imprisonment.

According to prosecution, Brijendra Singh of Shakti Nagar colony was hacked to death by his mother Pranpati, father Jairam, brothers Bansh Bahadur, Alok and Jangbahadur on June 18, 2003.

Brijendra's wife had registered a complaint against the accused.

Additional Sessions Judge S K Vishwakarma, awarded life term to the guilty family members yesterday.

Besides, Rs 3,000 each was imposed as penalty.
