IGNOU to launch B.Ed, M.Ed courses for special ability students

New Delhi, Dec 16 (UNI) Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will soon launch B.Ed and M.Ed Courses for students with special abilities.

IGNOU's chief pro Ravi Mohan told mediapersons they would also provide multi-media packages packed with audio-visual support for the courses.

IGNOU, a pioneering institute in open and distance learning has partnered with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), a statutory body of Ministry of Human Resource Developement (HRD) to strengthen the pool of professionals working in differently abled secors.

To assist their endeavour, services of middle level consultants committed to the cause of promoting and developing rehabilitation science will be taken.

IGNOU has sought applications from consultants working in the field of special education, with Ph.D or master's degree in Social Sciences and Rehabilitation Sciences with two-five years experience.
