BJP to review defeat in by-elections: Gehlot

Shajapur, MP, Dec 16 (UNI) BJP National General Secretary and MP Thawarchand Gehlot today said the party's central leadership will review the causes behind the defeat of the party in by-elections in Khargone Lok Sabha and Sanver assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh.

''The party's loss is definitely a matter of concern. The causes of the defeat has been identified as poor condition of roads and shortage of power. The cause would be minutely analysed at the central level. An action plan would be chalked out and implemented,'' Mr Gehlot told UNI here today.

Replying to a question, he said review of people's representatives would be also made.

He said there was difference in by-elections and assembly elections before which problems of water, electricity and road would be resolved. These schemes would be implemented at village level with the coordination of the government and the organisation.
