YSR directs revenue officials to attain target collection

Hyderabad, Dec 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today directed Revenue Earning Department officials to strive hard to achieve the annual targets by March end.

After a review meeting with revenue officials here, he asked the officials to seriously monitor revenue earnings every week.

Stating that large scale adulteration was taking place in Kerosene and Naptha, the Chief Minister said he would take up the matter with the Petroleum Ministry.

Mines and Geology achieved Rs 932.85 crore as total mineral revenue for the current year against the proportionate target of Rs 943.27 crore up to November 2007, he said.
