Two arrested with extortion money in Jharkhand

Hazaribagh, Dec 15 (UNI) Jharkhand police today arrested two miscreants with the extortion money from Tapsa Hande road under Simaria police station of Chatra district of Jharkhand.

Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar Singh of Hazaribagh said acting on a tip off police caught both miscreants from the Hande area of nearby Chatra district.

The miscreants were on way to Chatra after collecting extortion from one Arjun Dangi, a resident of Nawadihichak area under Ichak police station of Hazaribagh.

Besides cash, police recovered a motorcycle and a mobile phone from their custody.

In another incident, two former ultras, including a woman Maoist, were nabbed from Ramgarh police station of neighbouring Ramgarh district.
